CFPS Referral Services

CFPS offers referrals for interested individuals (adults, adolescents and children) seeking psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The professionals to whom we refer are trained and licensed mental health professionals from all of the major mental health disciplines (psychiatry, psychology, social work, counseling, and nursing) who have completed, or are pursuing, advanced training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy at CFPS.

Persons seeking treatment will speak with a CFPS faculty member who will take into consideration the caller's presenting problems, financial circumstances, and any preferences (i.e., clinician's gender or practice location) in order to suggest an appropriate referral.  This referral service does not monitor or otherwise participate in the treatment of patients.

Those interested in being referred may email CFPS with name and telephone contact information or leave a confidential voice message at 713-524-0790 for more information.

You may also wish to visit the How to Find a Psychoanalyst section of our website for a listing of members who are in practice.
