CFPS Alumni Group Membership Information and Upcoming Event

Dear Alumni,
As you may have heard, the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies (CFPS), formerly the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute has formed an active alumni association! Since you have trained at CFPS, we would like to invite you to join the CFPS Alumni Group and receive all the benefits of membership. Member benefits include:
- Ongoing connections with the Center
- Opportunities to form new study groups
- Optional subscription to Pep Web to access educational materials
- CEU opportunities
- Social events
- Case presentations with faculty and alumni
- Access to exclusive networking events
Annual membership dues will vary based upon your status at the Center. Current trainees and candidates can join for $50/year and alumni can join for $75/year.You will be provided PEP Web access as alumni, if you are not a member of another organization who is providing it for you.
To join the CFPS Alumni Group send us an email at cfpsalumni@gmail.com with your name, address, phone, email, status (alumnus versus student or faculty), and PEP election. After we receive your email, CFPS will email you an invoice. (includes instructions for payment by cash, check, or credit card)
Additionally, we would like to extend an invitation to our first event as a preview of one of many benefits to joining the group. Our first event is a case presentation scheduled for September 16, 2013 from 6:30-9pm: “Psychoanalytic Perspectives on Working with Couples.” Dr. Glenn Cambor will be the discussant and Leticia Fallick, LPC will be the presenter. We will be having a wine and cheese social from 6:30-7pm.
